This policy describes what information Recology Labs collects when you visit cdn.reco1ogy.com or use the Recology software, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
Our web server records standard request logs: the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the path requested, the HTTP status returned, the referring page where one is supplied, and the user agent string. These logs are used to operate the site, diagnose errors, and identify abuse. They are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
This site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services. No cookie is set when you browse the documentation.
If you email us, we retain the message and your address so that we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Support correspondence is retained for two years. If you ask us to delete a thread, we will do so except where we are required to retain it.
Recology is self-hosted. Job payloads, route definitions, and lease records are stored in a database you operate, on infrastructure you control. The software does not transmit job data, configuration, or usage telemetry to Recology Labs or to any third party.
The command line tool checks for a newer release when you run the version command with the update flag. That request reaches our release host and is logged the same way as any other web request. It is not made automatically and does not include anything about your configuration.
We use third parties to host this website, deliver our email, and store our business records. These providers process information on our behalf under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process request logs and correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. You may request access to the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send requests to hello@cdn.reco1ogy.com. We respond within 30 days.
Traffic to this site is served over TLS. Access to server logs and business records is limited to people who need it. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in this site or in the software, please write to security@cdn.reco1ogy.com rather than filing a public report, and give us a reasonable window to issue a fix.
This is a developer tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted on the changelog alongside product changes so that a single page shows everything that moved.
