These terms govern your use of the cdn.reco1ogy.com website and the Recology software distributed by Recology Labs. By using either, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
Recology is distributed under an open-core model. The core router, worker, and command line tool are licensed under the Apache License 2.0, and the text of that license accompanies each release archive. Optional commercial components are licensed separately under a written agreement and are not covered by these terms.
Nothing here grants you rights to the Recology Labs name or logo. You may state that your product works with Recology without asking us first, provided you do not imply that we endorse or support it.
You may read, download, and quote this documentation. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without writing to us first, or use automated requests at a rate that degrades service for others. We rate-limit aggressive clients and block sources of abuse.
Recology runs on your infrastructure and processes data you supply. You are responsible for how it is configured, for the security of the hosts it runs on, for the contents of the jobs you submit, and for compliance with the laws and contracts that apply to that data. We have no access to your deployment and cannot recover data from it on your behalf.
Community support is provided on a best-effort basis through support@cdn.reco1ogy.com. We make no commitment to a response time except where a separate support agreement says otherwise. Documentation on this site describes the current release and may not match older versions.
The software and this site are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software is error free or that it will meet your requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recology Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or corrupted data, arising from your use of the software or this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred United States dollars, whichever is greater.
We may update these terms. The date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Substantive changes are noted on the changelog.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Recology Labs is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
